Description
Careers rarely follow a specific path. Economic shifts, technological disruption, health challenges, and personal transitions can change the conditions in which clients build their working lives, and practitioners need tools that help them respond with confidence.
Career Coaching Through Changing Conditions brings together Sustainable Career Ecosystem Theory, the Employability Capital Growth Model, and Weather as a Career Metaphor into an integrated model, alongside 20 international case studies across 15 chapters.
At this launch webinar, Professor William E. Donald will provide a presentation about the book followed by an opportunity to answer audience questions.
Key learning outcomes:
- Understand why we need another metaphor.
- Explain the integrated model that underpins the book.
- Consider ways to use the metaphor in practice.
Audience:
Anyone who supports clients in schools, colleges, universities, organisations or private practice. Employability and student support staff. HR and learning and development professionals. Researchers interested in bridging theory and practice.
